WELCOME TO: Love Me, Maybe? A live dating show! Each show is a night of connection, love-potential, and genuine FUN that makes you feel giddy as your first high school dance.

We gather people looking for romance, friendship, or anything in between! Typical shows begin with a mixer of singles and others who are looking to connect—even if it’s just to make friends!

Love connoisseur and show host, Nevada Gibson, guides hand-selected singles through live dating games on stage.

Nevada Gibson is a live entertainer specializing in community events, comedy, and online content creation. She is a podcaster, comedian, and motivational speaker based in Santa Maria with events ranging from San Luis Obispo to Santa Barbara curated to empower connection, fun, friendship, and community.

THREE UNHINGED ROUNDS

Round 1

The Hype-Man/Hype-Woman Contest

Our three contestants each bring a hype-person who will have 1 minute and a half to pitch their friend, not only to the bachelor/bachelorette of the night but the audience.

After all the hype-persons pitch their friend, the bachelor/bachelorette has the chance to ask all three contestants ONE question before the audience votes on who they want to move forward.

The contestant who is voted out is eliminated and must leave the stage.

Round 3

Pick-Up Line Contest

Before the bachelor/bachelorette of the night chooses who they will take with them on a Sponsored Date, the remaining contestants will pitch their best pick-up lines. We love to see contestants get creative and personal with the pick-up lines. This moment gives an opportunity for all to have fun and show off their improv skills.

Round 2

The Bowl of Questions

We have a beautiful bowl of questions— first date questions, dares, spicy questions— we want the TEA. Of course. . .this is a live show at the end of the day so, anything can happen.

Occasionally the host will ask audience members for questions they’d like to know about the candidates, and occasionally the audience will shout out dares they want the contestants to do on stage.

(Consent and safety are our priority and contestants will not be forced to complete dare’s or answer questions they are not comfortable with.)

  • Audience members can dress up however they please, we love to encourage looking your best so you can feel your best to mingle and socialize!

    After the shows, audience members and contestants usually end up going out so we recommend dressing up to have a fun night out!

    Contestants have specific dress code directions that are emailed it them during the week prior to the show.

  • Shows are open to 18+.

    Shows are not kid friendly so we recommend calling your babysitter for the night so you can enjoy the show child-free!

    Applications for contestants are open to anyone over the age of 18.

    • This means you can be 18 and apply. This also means you can be 88 and apply.

    • We cast each show around one main bachelor or bachelorette and cast based on their dating age preferences.

    • You can indicate what ages you are open to dating on our application.

  • YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE SINGLE TO COME AND WATCH THE SHOW.

    However if you are applying to be a contestant, we only cast singles.

  • Open our application and enter your friend’s information who you are nominating! Please let them know you are nominating them and indicate that you are nominating them in the application.

  • YES. We cast all genders and sexualities. Again, we cast each show around one main bachelor or bachelorette and cast three contestants that align with their age/gender/sexuality dating preferences.
